Airborne V Panther
Here is another Company of Heroes video of why the Airborne doctrine is pretty much all you need for online games for Company of Heroes. This really only applies for multi player games with 4 or more people (so 2v2, 3v3, 4v4). The Airborne units that are dropped can upgrade two members of their squad with recoilless rifles; these are just basically bazookas. Unlike the Range Squad call in for the Infantry doctrine, the recoilless rifles pretty much penetrate every shot, so thick armor doesn't stand a chance.
Another key factor that you see in this video as well, is that the Airborne squad can "Fire Up" and completely ignore any suppression for a short time. This means they can charge machine gun nests and get behind them, or if allready suppressed, get up and charge whatever unit that is pissing it off.
There are a few other factors as well in Company of Heroes for the airborne unit, mostly modifiers to the unit that allows them to pretty much dodge any incoming fire (so they take less damage).
For this video though, I have to say that the Panther tank is classified as an anti-tank vehicle, so it doesn't particularly do well against infantry to being with, but when 3 squads of Airborne can take out 3 tanks on their own... well.
