I like this, its pretty seamless.
I think maybe you didnt understand the whole “Id rather Be” part because Im not sure that I would want to be owl dinner…..but thats just me I suppose : )

I think you should have more of a contrast on yourself so your easier to see

Dinner for an Owl sounds like fun to me! Very original I bet there aren’t many people who would rather be eating by a predatory bird. The only suggestion I have is that you may want to brighten yourself, or heighten the yellow in your photo. It might blend better with the richer background.
